WILBERFORCE FEATURED IN THE NEWS!
WHIO Reports, the weekly public affairs program of WHIO Radio and Television in Dayton, Ohio, devoted its entire broadcast January 15, 2012 to programs at the University.
Included were segments on the Wilberforce University Choir, just returned from its triumphant East Coast Holiday Tour – which featured a performance before the President and First Lady at the White House. Choir Director Jeremy Winston and two members of the Choir appeared on the program, along with a music video including photos of the White House performance.
Hila Williams, director of the Wilberforce University Cooperative Education program also appeared on the program, along with Christopher Adams, Senior, Majoring in Nuclear Engineering. Gary Seagraves, Regional Vice President for Kraft Foods, appeared on the program to discuss the Cooperative Education program from the employer’s point of view.
Also interviewed on WHIO Reports was Jo-Ann Robinson, Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Development at Wilberforce University, who talked about her new position at the University and plans to increase enrollment at the University.
