Subject: October 10,11 Membership Meeting: Register Now! - Poster Sessions and Conference Presentations

Greetings Colleagues,

I trust you're well.  Today I'm celebrating the upcoming October 10,11 Membership Meeting of the HBCU Library Alliance, our much-needed time to celebrate, learn and strategize.  I've communicated with many of you, and twenty-eight members have registered thus far.  If you haven't done so, as soon as possible, follow this link http://hbculibraries.org/2016meeting-form.html and register and process hotel accommodations. You may access this link http://hbculibraries.org/paypal.html for the Decade of Investment Initiative. As we are settling into our new space at the Atlanta University Center Woodruff Library, let's be sure to allow adequate time for invoice processing and fiscal management. All fees are due no later than Friday, September 30th.

Poster Sessions and Conference Presentations

Relevance in Turbulent Times is our theme. I've viewed our Social Media sites and am amazed by the work of our institutions and libraries in these challenging times.  Share the work of your library at our meeting, let us hear and learn from you.  As you are all well aware, our community is strengthened when we learn from one another.

Follow this link http://hbculibraries.org/2016poster-form.html to submit your Poster Session abstract, and this link http://hbculibraries.org/2016presentation-form.html for a Conference presentation. Remember to print your abstract/and or conference session description before submission.
Follow the HBCU Library Alliance Membership Meeting on Twitter at: https://twitter.com/2016HBCULA_MTG. If you're on Twitter, follow us @2016HBCULA_MTG .
I look forward to your registrations, participation in the Decade of Investment initiative, poster session abstracts and conference program submissions.

Respectfully,
Sandra
