The 1st Annual Military Appreciation Day: We Honor Your Service

Allen University (AU) is pleased to announce the institution's 1st Annual Military Appreciation Day.  The event will take place on the campus of Allen University on Saturday, September 13, 2014, from 11 am - 3 pm.

AU invites and welcomes active duty members, veterans, retirees, veteran organizations and the general public to this event. The day's agenda focuses on saying "thank you for your service," whether one has served our country in times of peace or war.  Allen University's inaugural Military Appreciation Day seeks to honor the Armed Service's role in OIF/OEF (Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom), the Gulf War, as well as the Vietnam, Korean and/or WWII conflicts.

There will be FREE food w/ military ID; food vendors, military story hours, drill teams, activities for children and much more for the whole family.  Join us for an enjoyable day at Allen University as it honors our country's men and women in uniform.
