Wells Fargo donates $10,000 to College’s Recovery and Restoration campaign
Wells Fargo Bank donated $10,000 to Saint Augustine’s College’s Recovery and Restoration Fund. Money contributed to the fund will help the College repair damage to the historic campus left by the tornado that hit Raleigh on Saturday, April 16.
“Being that we are right up the street and we have a long history with the college, and coming and seeing the devastation to the campus, we just felt it was something we had to do to help the College continue its mission,” said Kevin Harewood, vice president of Wells Fargo Bank.
Harewood said he was personally inspired by the hard work right after the storm to get the campus cleaned up.
“Seeing how faculty, staff, students and neighbors were cleaning up, I felt like we wanted to be a part of that,” Harewood said.
Those who are interested in giving to Saint Augustine’s College’s Recovery and Restoration Fund may send donations to North State Bank, 4270 The Circle at North Hills, Raleigh, NC 27609. Gifts may also be sent to Saint Augustine’s College Office of Institutional Advancement and Development, 1315 Oakwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27610.
