SUNO Students Win Awards at the LSU Undergraduate Research Conference

Six SUNO students in the Department of Natural Sciences presented research at the LSU Undergraduate Research Conference Friday, October 14. This conference under the theme "Excite, Explore, & Experiment!" has provided a platform to showcase the research abilities, talents and efforts of more than 650 students from more than 20 universities for the past seven years.

Three students walked home with prestigious awards: Roshaun Mitchell-Cleveland won 2nd place in the Math and Physical Sciences Oral Presentations; Altoneisha Rose won 1st place and Paula Datri won 2nd place in the category of Innovation and Commercialization Awards (SUNO swept this awards section).
