Greetings Colleagues,
I trust you’re well. Today I’m celebrating Asa Philip Randolph, who in 1941 issued a call for 100,000 Blacks to march on Washington, D.C. to protest discrimination in the armed forces and war industries. Randolph was considered the most prominent of all African American trade unionists and one of the major figures in the struggle for civil rights and racial equality.
