Internship Project Starting Point and Virtual Session Schedule

The internship will begin in June with the first virtual session scheduled for Tuesday, June 9 at 10:30 ET. The interns will collectively attend weekly, interactive webinars over eight weeks and site supervisors will commit to teaching live webinars. Sessions will be presented each Tuesday at 10:30 ET ending on July 28.  The 90-120 minute virtual sessions will include individual presentations and group work. To enhance the sessions, interns from Rounds 1 and 2 will be invited to participate and share their experiences.  It is our hope that all interns will find ways to connect with each other.

Each intern will be connected with a site supervisor who will be their mentor for a preservation-related research project to carried out over the course of the summer. The interns will each give a presentation about their research project and their overall experience which will be attended virtually by all site supervisors and any other staff at our respective institutions who want to attend. Students will receive a $500 honorarium for the summer.
