Harris-Stowe to Host 2012 Franchising Seminar
for Minorities and Women

ST. LOUIS, MO (April 18, 2012) - The Harris-Stowe State University
Anheuser-Busch School of Business, in conjunction with The International
Franchise Association and St. Louis Development Corporation will host
"How to Be in Business For Yourself, But Not By Yourself," April 26,
from 8 a.m-3 p.m.

The franchising fair will provide the opportunity for prospective
franchisees to get up close and personal with experienced franchisors
and learn more about franchisor participation, fundamentals of
franchising, experiences in franchising, legal aspects of franchising
and funding and technical assistance. Participants will also receive
valuable information on franchise incentives for minorities and women
looking to go into business.

This program is open to the public. Registration and one-on-one time
with franchise systems opens at 8 a.m.; advanced registration is
required. The $25 registration fee includes continental breakfast, lunch
