Greetings Colleagues,
I trust you're well. See attached flyer from Woodruff Library announcing "Seeking to Tell a Story: Political Action from Slavery to Civil Rights," a public exhibit that tells the story of the Atlanta Student Movement that was spearheaded by the Committee on the Appeal for Human Rights which was comprised of Atlanta University Center students.
A special program celebrating the exhibit's opening is being held at the Library, on Friday, October 18. The Keynote Speaker will be Rev. Dr. Otis Moss, III, Pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. Other distinguished speakers include alumni of the Atlanta Student Movement, Lonnie King (founder), Judge Brenda Cole, and Johnny Parham.
