Colleagues,

The expansion of the scope of the HBCU Library Alliance is a priority for the Board of Directors. A draft fundraising case statement has been prepared and members have provided values statements in support of this initiative. Thanks to everyone who participated.

The Board is inviting your assistance!

The unique library collections within our institutions are widely used by scholars, authors, researchers, HBCU presidents, alumni and other notable figures. As we develop additional fundraising materials, we want to engage this community and include their comments on the value of these collections and how they are being used.  These comments will be added to our arsenal of values statements and to the HBCU Library Alliance's website.  There may also be opportunities for these notable figures to serve with us in an advocacy role.

We've created a three-item survey requesting your contacts as described above and your assistance to make necessary connections.  Paste this link https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PPX6SKP into your address bar and respond to the survey no later than Monday, September 25th.

Contact me directly if you have questions or need additional information.  Your continued support is appreciated.

Stay tuned!

Sandra
