Fourth Year of CCC and Me Sessions Assist Freshmen

CCC and Me sessions will wrap up on Thursday, July 26. The program targets newly enrolled students, but is also offered to returning students in both academic and career technical fields. This program is great for lessening potential confusion students could have when during the fall-spring school year.
Participants have spent Thursdays learning all about web services Coahoma Community College utilizes for students' convenience.
Trina Cox, the program's presenter and Coordinator of Career Services and Placement, is glad to have aided a couple of inquisitive students since its start on May 17. And she hopes to see more stop by the Career Center on the 2nd floor of the Student Union to clear up any concerns before July 26, the day the program ends. The session will be open from 10 a.m. until noon.
Cox directs students to the proper campus locations when they inquire about creating the perfect class schedule with their academic advisors and other stages required to attend CCC. Cox is open to any questions students may have, whether it be about financial aid paperwork and campus housing or school traditions and printing assignments.
Karen Woods-Done, director of Enrollment and Student Services, stated that their department wants to actually demonstrate to students the proper steps to take for access to the institution's Internet resources. These varied resources include helpful tools such as their school-administered email, CANVAS, the portal students use to take online classes, and MyCCC, which is used to view school-related updates and details about their semester of classes.
For more information on 'CCC and Me,' feel free to contact Trina Cox at 662-621-4674 or tcox@coahomacc.edu.
