Greetings Colleagues,

The 8th Membership Meeting is quickly approaching!

Registration

Registration numbers are low as members have shared that they must delay registration until budgets are received later this month. If you haven't processed registration and hotel accommodations, click herehttp://www.hbculibraries.org/meeting-2018-info.html for more information. Please register as soon as possible to allow ample time for invoice processing and materials preparation.

NEH Challenge Grant

I shared earlier exciting news that the HBCU Library Alliance will receive a $365,000 NEH challenge grant for the Building Capacity for Humanities Special Collections at HBCUs proposal. The five-year project will be conducted in partnership with the Conservation Center for Art and Historic Artifacts (CCAHA). Project partners from CCAHA will present a brief overview of the project at the Membership meeting.

I look forward to seeing you in Atlanta. Much more to come, stay tuned!
Respectfully,
Sandra
