Morgan State University News July 2, 2019 Morgan Scholar Gives Ivy League M.B.A. Program a Trial Run This summer, as many Morgan scholars are engaged in interesting internships or recharging their mental batteries while eagerly anticipating the start of the fall semester, others are using the time to further their education in other ways. The select group of participants, who come from diverse backgrounds, are exposed to an exclusive business education designed to develop a broader understanding of the challenges business leaders face, the many dimensions of the business world, and the impact the participants can have on their community and the world through business leadership. Robertson made the most of his brief time as a Harvard M.B.A. student, using the experience to network with other change agents and interface with world-renowned professors. He was also able to examine real business cases, using study groups and classes to assess and debate ideas through lively interaction with peers and faculty. And when he wasn't poring over business cases, he was touring the city of Boston, taking in the sites and scenery. "The experience exposed me to a professional network that I would have not gotten anywhere else," said Robertson. "I feel more prepared than ever to solve business problems that will inevitably arise as I advance in my career. It meant the world to me to not only represent the Graves School of Business (and Management) but to also represent Morgan State!"
