Georgia governor makes historic visit to ASU
Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal visited Albany State University (ASU) Monday, May 11 for a Bill Signing of a portion of the 2015-2016 Georgia Budget and two criminal justice bills, one of which was championed by an ASU criminal justice professor. Interim President Arthur N. Dunning, local legislators and other Albany State officials also participated. It was the governor's first visit to ASU. The historic event was held in the Billy C. Black Auditorium.
