Kentucky State University News January 27, 2104 KSU Offers Tech Workshops For Middle And High School Students Middle and high school students are invited to participate in a series of technology-based workshops hosted by Kentucky State University's College of Agriculture, Food Science and Sustainable Systems in partnership with the Franklin County public school system. The program, called Tech Wizards, will be held from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Feb. 1, Feb. 15 and Feb. 22 at the Franklin County Career and Technical Center, 1106 East Main Street. More workshops will be held throughout the year. Topics include graphic imaging, green screen technologies, computer hardware/software, web design and laser art. The classes will be taught by Tech Wizards Coordinator Dewayne Hancock with Franklin County Public Schools. Tech Wizards is sponsored by the National 4-H and funded by the Office of Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention. The program is free and bus transportation, as well as lunch and workshop supplies, will be provided to all participants.
