Wiley Junior Named White House HBCU All-Star

The White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (WHIHBCUs) has named Wiley Junior Nateisha Choice a 2015 HBCU All-Star. Ms. Choice is among 83 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students nationwide selected to be HBCU-All stars from a pool of more than 450 student-applicants to the program. Students were selected based on their accomplishments in academics, leadership, and civic engagement.

As an HBCU All-Star, Ms. Choice will serve as an ambassador of the WHIHBCU by providing outreach and communication with fellow students about the value of education and the role of the initiative as a networking resource. Ms. Choice will also participate in this year's White House HBCU Week Conference in September as well as various national events, web chats with Ivory A. Toldson, acting executive director of WHIHBCU, and other initiative staff and professionals from a range of disciplines. Ms. Choice is a criminal justice major who plans to attend law school and would like to specialize in Criminal Defense and Family Law. Her hometown is Dallas, Texas.
