The weeklong 60th anniversary celebration begins Sunday, Sept. 15 with an Ecumenical Service at 1 p.m. in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences Auditorium, 6400 Press Drive, New Orleans, LA 70126. Clergy from various denominations will participate in the service.

At 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16 in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences Auditorium, a Student Convocation will feature an address by SUNO Chancellor Lisa Mims-Devezin. An Alumni Reception is scheduled at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18 in the new College of Education & Human Development Building on the Lake Campus facing L.C. Simon Drive.
