Peloton and Beyoncé Give Digital Fitness Access to Bennett College
Bennett students are "Crazy in Love" with this gift of fitness.

Bennett College is thrilled to announce participation in a partnership with Peloton and Beyoncé. Peloton, the world's leading interactive fitness platform, and GRAMMY® Award-winning global entertainer and entrepreneur, Beyoncé, joined forces to give Bennett College students access to a free, two-year digital membership. Currently enrolled Bennett students will be able to connect from anywhere, at any time-with or without equipment - and receive unlimited access to live and on-demand classes from world-class instructors.

Beyoncé and Peloton worked closely to create a series of Homecoming themed workout experiences via classes including strength training, boot camp, running, yoga and meditation-all available on the Peloton app.

"It's 'crazy right now' to enter this partnership with Peloton and Beyoncé," said Suzanne Walsh, president of Bennett College. "This is in perfect alignment with our focus on promoting health and self-care among our students. This valuable resource will help them unlock the value of lifelong habits of fitness and wellness."

Bennett has been serious about promoting the health of students, faculty and staff-especially important during the current global health pandemic. The college has been offering students health-promoting activities including fitness classes, yoga, and meditation group sessions delivered remotely as a continuation of the college's ongoing health efforts.

"Peloton and I both believe that the power of music can help uplift, motivate and inspire those on their fitness journeys," said Beyoncé. "I've been a Peloton member for several years, and I'm excited to partner with a company that helps people, young and old, be the best versions of themselves, in an innovative and adaptable way. I'm proud to celebrate the students at HBCUs with this donation, to encourage them to find and embrace their own wellness regimens."

In addition to Bennett College, Peloton has extended this opportunity to Clark Atlanta University, Grambling State University, Hampton University, Howard University, Morehouse College and Morehouse School of Medicine, Spelman College, Texas Southern University, and Wilberforce University. The relationship will also include long-term recruiting partnerships at both the internship and undergraduate levels.

Bennett students will soon receive access to the fitness information for two years, but this content is available to anyone via a free 30-day trial period, as well as through the Peloton Bike, Bike+ and Tread+.
