Kentucky State University News February 20, 2019 Kentucky State University Student Government Association hosting Black History Assembly The Kentucky State University Student Government Association is hosting a Black History Assembly Thursday, Feb. 21 at 11 a.m. in the Carl H. Smith Auditorium of David H. Bradford Hall. Special guests include actor Lance Gross and television and radio personality Rocsi Diaz. Gross is best known for his role as Calvin Payne on Tyler Perry's House of Payne and Tyler Perry's The Paynes. Gross has also appeared in Meet the Browns and Tyler Perry's Temptations: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor. Gross also co-starred in Our Family Wedding and starred as Secret Service Agent Marcus Finley in Crisis. Diaz is best known as the co-host of 106 & Park from 2006 - 2012. Diaz was also previously a correspondent on Entertainment Tonight. Her work earned her a Daytime Emmy as part of the cast for outstanding entertainment news program.
