Assistant Professor/Digital Reference Librarian (Tenure-Track)

Minimum Qualifications:
Master of Library/Information Science degree from a graduate program fully accredited by the American Library Association

Desired Qualifications:
Meaningful educational coursework and/or previous experience with electronic and traditional/print information/reference resources and activities in a public services setting; experience and sensitivity to a highly diverse group of users/clientele from undergraduate to graduate levels; comfort level in establishing/developing collegial relationships with academic faculty, staff, and administration in the Library and University; potential to meet requirements for tenure/promotion in the areas of teaching/instruction/librarianship, research/creative activities, and University/public/community service.

This position will also involve flexibility regarding departmental work schedules which include evening/weekend hours; digital/online reference services; information literacy/bibliographic instruction/library orientation presentations; Library/University committee assignments; and/or collaborative teaching/research projects with other faculty/staff.
