Members,

The purpose of this e-mail is to share information on the HBCU Library Alliance/EdFarm partnership and to request your response to a brief technology survey.

The HBCU Library Alliance entered into partnership with Education Farm (EdFarmhttps://edfarm.org/) in December 2020. EdFarm was launched in February 2020 to rethink and reimagine education through technology. Apple and Southern Companyhttps://edfarm.org/stories/new-global-hub-for-hbcus-launches-in-atlanta-with-support-from-apple-southern-company/ are EdFarm founding partners. The goals of the HBCU Library Alliance/EdFarm partnership include technology leadership training for HBCU library staff as part of EdFarm's Propel Centerhttps://propelcenter.org/. As a physical and virtual campus, the Propel Center will provide HBCUs with shared services to support their work of preparing leaders.

The brief technology survey will provide information to the HBCU Library Alliance about the need and design of a technology training institute.
