Greetings Colleagues,

I trust you're well.  Today I'm celebrating Ohio's Wilberforce University  Founded in 1856, Wilberforce's origins date to a period before the Civil War for African-Americans who sought freedom from slavery.  One of the destination points of the Ohio Underground Railroad became Wilberforce University. As the Underground Railroad provided a route from physical bondage, the University was formed to provide an intellectual journey and refuge from slavery's first rule: ignorance.
5th Biennial Membership Meeting

I'm SO EXCITED that sixty institutions and ninety individuals are registered for this historic meeting, scheduled Sunday through Tuesday, October 21-23 in New Orleans, LA. However, full membership participation is vital as we plot and strategize sustainability options and future directions of this great organization. Board members are making calls to encourage and invite attendance. I hope your schedule allows time for them to answer any questions you may have.
