<!--P { MARGIN-TOP: 0px; MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0px } -->Hello Colleagues,

I hope that you have arrived back on your campus engergized and ready to put lessons learned from the 2010 Membership Meeting in to practice. Those of you who did not attend missed out on a wonderful, wonderful meeting. From the pre-conference to the Reception to the Civil Rights Tours to the presentations we-- in the words of our keynote speaker Dr. Joseph Silver -- worked hard and played hard. Let us use the meeting as a beginning involvement for some and a renewed involvement for others in the work of the Alliance. Calls will go out to the membership for assistance on various projects; we will need the involvement of each and everyone of you to make the most of the opportunities that the Alliance will have with grants and collaborations.

I want to again thank the Planning Committee headed by Janice Franklin, Sandra Phoenix and Etta Royster for all their hard work in making this meeting so successful, to our founding directors for their vision, and to past and present board members for their dedication to the Alliance.
