French, Jr. Student Activity Center. The C-SPAN Bus is an interactive, multi-media learning center that brings C-SPAN’s coverage of public affairs to communities nationwide and teaches students, teachers and the public how to follow Washington Your Way. Aboard the C-SPAN Bus, visitors are invited to learn, through interactive exhibits, students and educators will learn about the public affairs network’s programs and resources, including its in-depth coverage of the U.S. Congress, White House, federal courts, and the American political process. C-SPAN’s web offerings, including over 200,000 hours of archived video going back to 1987 through C-SPAN’s vast Video Library and Congressional Chronicle • Ways to connect with C-SPAN including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, XM Radio, and mobile apps • Interactive quizzes to test your knowledge about the political process • The Bus is 45 feet long, 8 feet wide and 13.5 feet tall. Faculty, staff, and students of all majors are welcomed, to utilize web resources for class assignments and presentations. The C-SPAN Bus attends events across the country, including book festivals, high schools, universities, and political gatherings. The Local Content Vehicles and crew travel the nation capturing unique stories along the way.
