Greetings Colleagues,

I trust you're well and practicing self-care.

The 9th HBCU Library Alliance Membership meeting is moving apace! Twenty-eight institutions representing 109 individuals have registered for the June 1-2 meeting.

If you haven't done so, access this link http://www.hbculibraries.org/meeting-2021.html for registration details.  This has been a challenging season, but also a season of opportunity for the HBCU Library Alliance; this meeting acknowledges our strength, resilience, and need to connect as a community. The finishline for registration payment has been extended to May 28th.

As this is a virtual meeting, the Sched.com<sched.com> platform will be used to host the meeting and provide attendees with access to content. Each registrant will receive a Sched link as we get closer to the meeting date. The meeting agenda is under development with members presenting sessions on a range of topics that highlight HBCU libraries in full view.

Anticipate project partners joining us for the meeting where you will hear updates on the Building Capacity to Support Humanities Collections at HBCUs project, the Creating Access for HBCU Library Alliance Archives project, the Summer 2021 Conservation/Preservation Internship, and the CLIR Podcast Series. These project are possible because of your commitment, interest and involvement.
