Voorhees College News November 17, 2015 Voorhees signs articulation agreement with Denmark Tech Voorhees College President Cleveland L. Sellers met with Denmark Technical College President Dr. Leonard McIntyre to sign an articulation agreement between the two institutions. The purpose of the articulation agreement is to allow Denmark Tech's students the opportunity after they receive their associate's degree to transfer to Voorhees to then begin working toward a bachelor's degree. The students will enroll at Voorhees classified as a junior. The agreement is in place to facilitate a seamless transition for Denmark Tech graduates and the students will be able to receive full instructional, academic advisement and financial aid counseling services. "This articulation agreement between Denmark Technical College and Voorhees allows us to fulfill our mission and uplift the community by educating citizens of our service area and enhancing their quality of life," said Dr. McIntyre. President Sellers feels that this idea makes sense as it will allow Voorhees to gain even more students in need of a quality education. "In today's society, it is pertinent that students obtain a higher education if they want to survive in this competitive workforce," said Dr. Sellers. "This agreement will allow Denmark Tech students to continue their education toward receiving a bachelor's degree, and it will assist Voorhees with increasing our student enrollment."
