West Virginia State University's (WVSU) online bachelor's degree in criminal justice has been recognized as one of the most affordable online criminal justice programs in the country by TheBestSchools.org.

WVSU's criminal justice program was ranked No. 4 in the country among online programs based on factors including academic excellence, faculty, reputation, financial aid and strength of online instruction methodology.

"I commend the hard work of our Criminal Justice Department for delivering a high quality, affordable education in an ever-evolving online environment," said WVSU President Anthony L. Jenkins. "Our criminal justice program consistently wins state and regional awards and this national recognition speaks to the high quality of instruction out students demand and our faculty delivers on a daily basis."
