KSU Receives $15,000 From The Central Area Of The Links

On June 18, Kentucky State University President Raymond M. Burse traveled to Cincinnati, Ohio, to accept a special gift from the Central Area of The Links, Incorporated.

The Links contributed $15,000 to KSU's endowment fund during an evening program. KSU was among other historically black colleges and universities to receive checks from the organization, totaling $205,000.

The award letter to KSU reads: "We understand the possibility of a better life begins with higher education, and the number of students struggling to make ends meet and stay in school grows each year. We are honored to partner with our HBCUs to promote scholastic achievement and make it possible for students to realize their academic dreams."
