SAU Students Obtain Summer Internships to Gain Valuable Work Experience

Several Saint Augustine's University students are gaining valuable work experience through internship opportunities with some local organizations. The experience that internships offer is invaluable to the future career plans for these students. The professional knowledge gained through these summer programs will help students establish a real-world view of their area of interest in a real-time setting. This enhances their classroom understanding, as well, will increase their competitiveness in the job markets. Students are placed in an environment that puts their knowledge and skills to work.

The following businesses have offered SAU students a chance to gain a better understanding of what will be expected of them in the workplace, and perhaps even will result in a full-time opportunity. Studies show that 7 out of 10 internships become full-time jobs.
