Tuskegee University News October 22, 2014 Physics Department unites to give back to university The Tuskegee University Physics Department, under the leadership of Dr. Prakash Sharma, has made a commitment to helping strengthen this institution. Six out of the seven department members have stepped up to make gifts of $100 or more and have designated their gifts to go to the university's General Operating Fund. The total sum of their gift is $1,050. Robert Blakely, vice president of development and advancement, said that the department members' actions demonstrate that "they've put the long-term trajectory of the university as a whole as their top priority, as they've been inspired by the president's vision of lifting up the campus as a whole."
