WHO: The commencement speaker is Dr. Hayden, the 14th Librarian of Congress who previously led the Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore for more than 20 years. Bowie State will also recognize one of its oldest alumni. Born in 1917, Nina Clarke, of Rockville, Maryland, is a retired educator, author and historian who was the first African-American supervisory resource teacher in the Montgomery County school system.
