ASU to Host Luncheon for School Superintendents
ASU's College of Education will welcome school superintendents to the University's campus for a special luncheon.
The Department of Instructional Support Programs in Alabama State University's College of Education will sponsor a luncheon for all school superintendents on August 31 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The luncheon will be held in the Great Hall of Teachers, located in the Ralph D. Abernathy College of Education Building. The event is free and open to all superintendents or their representatives.
"The luncheon is geared toward maintaining relationships with school superintendents and to discuss ASU's 2020 Transformation and the exciting programs within Instructional Support," said Dr. Necoal Driver, chair of the Department of Instructional Support Programs.
Speakers and presenters at the luncheon will include President William H. Harris; Cherise Peters, associate provost and vice president of Enrollment Management; Freddie Williams, director of Admissions; Dr. Charlie Gibbons, interim dean of the College of Education; and faculty and students within Instructional Support Programs.
Attendees also will be given a bus tour of the campus.
