Fisk University Students on Path to Global Citizenship with Free Passports

The Office of Global Initiatives at Fisk University is proud to announce that it has been selected to partner with the Council on International Education Exchange (CIEEhttps://www.ciee.org/) for the National Generation Study Abroad(tm) Initiative.

In the upcoming 2019-2020 academic year, with CIEE's sponsorship, Fisk University will provide 75 free passports to underrepresented students in study abroad. Fisk University seeks to exceed CIEE's sponsorship with a goal of sponsoring an additional 125 free passports with your help and supporthttps://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeOW2RobG1mMCGLxJ75BSUf-MwZ1ulBRAzQsvs07a3GIBqN_w/viewform. In total, we have the potential to provide 200 free passports!

In collaboration with various campus departments, CIEE, Alumni and other community partners, the passport caravan is designed to inspire and empower Fisk University students to become "Leaders, Scholars, and World Changers."

Some highlights of the Fisk University Passport Caravan will include: on-site passport processing, presidential address, workshops, the launch of a CIEE and Fisk themed rocket, international food tasting, and live musical performances.
