Greetings Colleagues,

I trust you're well.  Today I'm celebrating abolitionist and women's right activist Sojourner Truth. Truth was born into slavery circa 1800 in Swartekill, New York and escaped with her infant daughter to freedom in 1826. She is best-known for her speech on racial inequalities, "Ain't I a Woman?" which was delivered extemporaneously in 1851 at the Ohio Women's Rights Convention.

FY15 and FY16 Membership Dues

FY15 will end June 30, 2015 with $71,112.00 collected of the $80,500.00 membership dues total billing. Thanks to everyone who remitted membership dues.

Several members requested early FY 16 dues invoicing. If there are remaining end-of-year funds in your budget, consider using them for HBCU Library Alliance FY16 membership dues.

Contact me immediately with questions and for invoice processing.

Your continued support of the HBCU Library Alliance is appreciated.

Respectfully,

Sandra
