Greetings Colleagues, I trust you're well. Today I'm celebrating abolitionist and women's right activist Sojourner Truth. Truth was born into slavery circa 1800 in Swartekill, New York and escaped with her infant daughter to freedom in 1826. She is best-known for her speech on racial inequalities, "Ain't I a Woman?" which was delivered extemporaneously in 1851 at the Ohio Women's Rights Convention.
