Funding Available for Non-Director Library Staff to Attend HBCU Library Alliance 10th Membership Meeting

Greetings Colleagues,

We are excited to announce that non-director library staff from institutions in good standing can apply for funding to attend the HBCU Library Alliance 10th Membership Meeting. This is an excellent opportunity for professional development, networking, and gaining insights into the challenges and opportunities facing HBCU libraries.

The Membership Meeting will take place in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, from Sunday, October 27, 2024, to Tuesday, October 29, 2024. We are pleased to offer funding support for 21 attendees from our member libraries. If you are interested in attending, please check with your dean or director to confirm your library's good standing. You can also reach out to us directly to verify your institution's status.

Applications are due by Thursday, August 15, 2024, and selections will be made by Monday, August 26, 2024. If selected, you must submit a brief report and complete a survey about your meeting experience.
