Preparations Underway to Celebrate 111th Founders' Week

Alabama State University prepares to honor the memory of the University's founders during its annual Founders' Week celebration.
Exciting plans are underway for Alabama State University's 111th Founders' Week celebration. The Division of University Relations is inviting all students, alumni, faculty, staff and friends to take part in honoring the memory of the bold visionaries who founded the University.
The following events will take place during Founders' Week, Feb. 1-4:
Tuesday, Feb. 1
Community Day of Service: ASU Family Reading Initiative in Area Schools
Wednesday, Feb. 2
Lunch-n-Learn: Alumni, faculty & staff share with ASU Students
Thursday, Feb. 3
Early Childhood Center Founders' Assembly
Student Legacy Lecture
A Celebration of Service Tribute to ASU's Past Presidents
Wreath-laying at Gravesites of Past Presidents
Friday, Feb. 4
Founders' Day Breakfast Reception
Founders' Day Convocation
Stadium Groundbreaking
Football Complex Dedication
Baseball/Softball Field Ribbon-Cutting
