CBS News November 30, 2016 Charles Barkley pledges $1M to Clark Atlanta University Retired NBA player and sports analyst Charles Barkley announced Tuesday he would donate $1 million to Clark Atlanta University and Alabama A&M as part of #GivingTuesday. Barkley made the announcement live on WJOX-FM sports talk radio in Birmingham, Alabama. "We are delighted to receive this generous gift from Mr. Barkley," said Clark Atlanta President Ronald A. Johnson, Ph.D. "This gift reflects his tremendous heart and his desire to make a significant, positive and lasting difference in the lives of others.
