Fayetteville State University’s Office of College Access Programs will serve as a Host Site for North Carolina College Application Week
Seniors in the state of North Carolina can complete free admission applications to a variety of colleges and universities during the North Carolina College Application Week held November 10-14, 2014. The event is sponsored by the College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC) and Carolinas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (CACRAO).
Fayetteville State University’s Office of College Access Programs will serve as a host site. The Office will assist high school seniors with their applications on two evenings during College Application Week, November 12th & 13th, from 5pm to 8pm. High school seniors will receive technical assistance with completing their college applications online and one-on-one assistance with essay writing.
North Carolina College Application Week is designed to provide every graduating high school senior the opportunity to apply to college online using CFNC.org, with a particular focus on low-income and first-generation students who may not otherwise apply to college. During this week ONLY, most North Carolina colleges and universities, to include Fayetteville State University, will either accept the College Board fee waiver for students with financial need or waive the application fee completely for North Carolina graduating high school seniors.
