Tuskegee University part of C-Span college tour
This month, Tuskegee is one of the stops for C-SPAN's HBCU Tour. The cable television network will visit campus Feb. 18 to profile the institution and help students with educational and career resources. During the year, C-SPAN will profile the top eight historically black institutions selected by U.S. News and World Report. For the second year, Tuskegee was ranked No. 5 among Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
During the tour, the university will be featured on the Washington Journal National morning program. Tuskegee University president Dr. Brian L. Johnson will be interviewed for the show. The program airs daily at 6 a.m. CST. At 10 a.m., a special tour bus parked outside Tompkins Hall will be opened to discuss C-SPAN'S video library content and possible internships with interested students.
