A&T Graduates’ ROI Is Among North Carolina’s Highest
The Triangle Business Journalhttp://www.bizjournals.com/triangle/news/2015/06/18/which-nc-university-offers-the-best-roi.html has reported that North Carolina A&T State University ranks No. 1 among historically black colleges and universities in North Carolina and No. 4 in the UNC System for the highest return on investment of colleges and universities.
Citing a report from on-demand compensation data and software provider PayScale, the Business Journal showed that N.C. A&T ranks No. 9 overall for ROI for in-state tuition behind North Carolina State University, University of North Carolina at Charlotte and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. A&T is tied at No. 11 overall with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for ROI for out-of-state tuition.
PayScale presented a 20-year forecast that provides a look at potential future financial returns on investment for an undergraduate degree at public and private colleges and universities.
For in-state tuition, PayScale estimates a graduate of A&T will see a $264,000 return on an investment of $60,200, the average cost of five years to graduate, after leaving with an average of $29,680 in student loan debt.
Out-of-state students are estimated to see a $223,300 return on an investment of $101,000, the average cost of five years to graduate, after leaving with an average of $29,680 in student loan debt.
