Summer Enrichment Camps at N.C. A&T to Offer STEM-Focused Activities and Exposure
As summer approaches, so does the need for activities for children during summer break. Registration for 2017 Aggie Enrichment Camps at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University is now open.
Each camp runs for one week from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday, beginning July 10, 2017.
Facilitated though the Office of Continuing Education, Aggie Enrichment Camps are designed for youth to explore future careers in technology, engineering aviation and more; discover hidden talents and excel in academics. Through interdisciplinary, hands-on learning experiences, various camps are available for second through eighth grade students.
New camps have been added and popular ones are back. From "Science Xploration" and "Exploring Engineering" to "Baton/Flag and Dance" to "Computer Gaming" to "Drumline in the Making," there is something for every child and every interest. There's even "All Things Seuss" for the "Cat in the Hat" and "Green Eggs and Ham" enthusiast.
Each camp costs $185 per camper and includes lunch and camp-related materials and products.
For more information, visit the camp websitehttp://www.ncat.edu/academics/outreach/sumcp/index.html or call 336-334-7810.
