Greetings Colleagues, I hope all is well. Today the Alliance is celebrating Carol Mosley Braun, first African American woman elected to the United States Senate on this date in 1992. The Illinois Senator became only the second African American Senator of the 20th century. The purpose of this survey is to compile statistical staff data to aid the Alliance in continuing its' work to promote collaboration of information professionals to strengthen HBCU libraries.
