Eighteen institutions applied to participate in the inaugural HBCU Library Alliance/CLIR Podcast initiative. As you recall, participating institutions will be interviewed twice with the goal of creating a 30-minute podcast that illustrates the important work of HBCUs and their contributions in the global world. I'm so pleased with the response and interest in this initiative, and in expanding its focus for even greater community impact. The collections represented are so valuable and compelling as they highlight the extensive contributions of HBCUs to history and culture.
