Copeland Establishes Endowed Scholarship in Honor of Parents

Dr. Vincent Copeland recently established the William and Melba Copeland Endowed Scholarship at Mississippi Valley State University through a $10,000 donation during the 2015 Homecoming game.
"The scholarship commemorates the love my parents had for MVSU and the value they placed on education," said Copeland.
Scholarship funds will be awarded to a deserving young man or woman who meets the scholarship requirements. The criteria for the scholarship:

  •    Students must be enrolled full time.
    
  •    Student must be in good academic standing with a GPA of 2.7 or higher.
    
  •    The student must be a Mississippi or Georgia Resident
