Assistant Director of Collections and Content Management and Assistant Director of Research Learning and Technology Services:

AUC Woodruff Library is looking to fill two leadership positions: Assistant Director of Collections and Content Management and Assistant Director of Research Learning and Technology Services. Both positions report directly to the Associate Library Director and will play a key role in developing strategic services and resources to support the culture of innovation and collaboration within the Atlanta University Center community.

The Assistant Director of Collections provides leadership, guidance, and expertise in collection and resource management and management for the Systems, Collection Assessment, and Resource Acquisitions and Management (RAaM) Unit. They are responsible for managing the library's acquisitions budget and approval plan.  The Assistant Director of Collections works collaboratively with department/unit heads and the Office of Computing and Information Technology to affect user-oriented solutions related to library services, systems, and software.  They work collaboratively with subject liaisons on collection assessment and development and with the Archives Research Center on policy and procedures for special collections materials.

The Assistant Director of Research, Learning, and Technology Services (RTLS) provides leadership, guidance, and expertise in delivering information and research services. The Assistant Director of RTLS will oversee the day-to-day operations of public services, provide a vision for user engagement, and advance high-priority initiatives emphasizing research, student success, information literacy, and user experiences. The AD of RTLS is responsible for direct oversight of the following units: Access & Circulation Services, Research Services, and Online Learning & Technology Services.
