TSU to Participate in HUB Exposition

The Office of Procurement Services, Purchasing Division staff will participate in the Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Connection Seminar and Expo May 6th and 7th at the Irving Convention Center. The annual event allows state agencies to meet HUB vendors and develop strategies for increasing HUB purchases. Orders can be placed at the Expo. State agency purchasers are hereby granted an exemption from purchasing items off of Statewide Procurement Division (SPD) contracts for one-time purchases made at the "Doing Business Texas Style HUB Vendor Fair." The exemption is based on a best value determination, which includes delivery time.

Purchasing staff welcomes requests for goods or services from all University departments. The Expo offers competitive prices and TSU staff will place orders with a HUB vendor during the event.

Please submit your requests by close of business on May 2, 2019 using this link: http://wforms.tsu.edu/index.php/spot-bid-purchase-request/.
