NAA Raises $75,000 to Benefit ASU

Author: Lois G. Russell

ASU will receive more than $75,000 this year from the National Alumni Association's annual raffle ticket fundraiser.

The National Alumni Association announced the winners and totals for its 2015 raffle sales during the NAA Mini-Conference held annually during Homecoming Week.

"The sales were really fabulous this year," said NAA President Bea Forniss. "I am really proud of our alumni for their efforts."

The efforts from alumni across the nation paid off in a big way for the University. The raffle ticket sales brought in more than $75,000. Ten winners received cash prizes ranging from $50 to $1,000.

Forniss said the University will be able to use the funds in a variety of ways, including providing scholarships for students.

"The National Alumni Association is proud to be able to have raised these funds to be used to advance the University's mission, most especially in support of our great students," said NAA President Bea Forniss. "The NAA is a committed partner with ASU, and we will continue to expand our efforts to help O' Mother Dear advance, particularly as we approach our 150th anniversary in 2017."
