Bennett College News November 13, 2017 Bennett College website captures HBCUgrow LEAD Award Bennett College's website captured a bronze medal at the 2017 HBCUgrow LEAD Conference, held November 9, 2017, at the Sheraton in downtown Raleigh! Among institutions in attendance at the HBCUgrow LEAD Conference were Florida A&M University (FAMU), Grambling State University, Jackson State University, Shaw University, Spelman College and Winston-Salem State University. "I believe that my alma mater has stepped up its game when it comes to the website," said Digital and Social Media Specialist Shaakira Jones in her nomination. "Bennett College is trying to provide more updated features on campus, and this new website has done it. It is user-friendly and truly tells the story of the gem we like to call Bennett College."
