Sanders, Dixon & Morton Graduate from MS Leadership Academy
Three of Coahoma Community College's own staff became a part of the graduation season Thursday night as part of the fifth class to graduate from the Mississippi Community College Leadership Academy (MCCLA) in a ceremony held at the Hunter Henry Center on the campus of Mississippi State University.

Along with 35 other members of the Mississippi Community College family, Margaret Dixon, Yolanda Morton and Shelia Sanders completed 52 hours of contact instruction in June (2013), and an additional 72 hours of instruction during sessions held throughout the last 12 months. Participants were also tasked with completing reading and research assignments between the sessions.

The MCCLA was started in 2009 to address the projected need for upper-level leaders in the Mississippi Community College System.

Dixon serves as Director of Research and Assessment in CCC's Office of Institutional Effectiveness; Sanders serves as Student Services Coordinator in CCC's Career and Technical Division and Morton serves as an Academic Counselor in the Office of Academic Affairs.
