FAMU Student Union To Serve As Early Voting Station For Democratic Presidential Primary

Florida A&M University (FAMU) will host a polling station to accommodate early voting in the 2020 Presidential Preference Primary Election.

On campus voting can be done at the FAMU Student Union Multipurpose Room D, 1628 MLK Jr. Blvd, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Early voting starts on Saturday, March 7 and continues through Sunday, March 15. Primary election day is Tuesday, March 17, 2020. Spring Break begins Monday, March 16.

Active candidates on the Florida ballot include former U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden and Senator Bernie Sanders.

FSU Tucker Center (East Entrance), 505 W Pensacola St. 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

B.L. Perry Jr. Branch Library, 2817 S Adams St. 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Leon County Courthouse, 301 S Monroe St.  8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The benefits of Early Voting include shorter wait times, more than 20 combined hours of weekend voting, and the flexibility to vote at any early voting site in Leon County, according to Leon County Supervisor of Elections Mark S. Earley.
